À Terre, a gourmet restaurant in Copenhagen

Located at Tordenskjoldsgade 11, just a few steps from Kongens Nytorv, you will find the restaurant à Terre. A small Michelin-recommended fine dining restaurant at Kongens Nytorv.

Here, classic elegance meets modern gastronomy in intimate surroundings, where tranquillity, presence and uncompromising craftsmanship take centre stage. The atmosphere is characterised by timeless quality, creating the ideal setting for special occasions, date nights or other intimate dinners in central Copenhagen.

Cuisine with French roots and Nordic ingredients

Our cuisine is based on French roots and combines them with Nordic ingredients and a touch of Asian flavours. We work with intense, pure flavours and great technical precision, where the classic and the innovative merge into a gastronomy that is constantly evolving.

At à Terre, we offer two gastronomic experiences, both of which stem from the same ambition but unfold in their own unique ways.

Signature menu

Our Signature menu is the restaurant’s most complete journey and constitutes our tasting menu in Copenhagen. A complete narrative, where seasonal ingredients and classic techniques are combined in dishes created with precision and deep respect for detail. The dishes unfold layer by layer, inviting guests into the entire universe surrounding à Terre.

Essential menu

A more focused and concentrated version of our gastronomy, where the essence of à Terre is presented in a more time-friendly setting.

Essential is particularly suitable for theatre guests and visitors to the Royal Theatre who want a refined dining experience before the performance, without compromising on quality, taste or craftsmanship.

It is an obvious choice for guests seeking a gourmet experience in Copenhagen with a little less time.

The two menus complement each other. Signature as the immersive, full journey and Essentiel as the sharp and concentrated impact in the same gastronomic universe. Regardless of which menu you choose, the goal is the same. To give the guest an experience that will be remembered long after the last course has been served.

Due to the different time frames of the two menus, the entire table orders the same menu.
