Welcome to a gourmet restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen

Restaurant à terre is a small and intimate place where hospitality is paramount. When you walk through the door at à terre, we want to create a time capsule where you can forget all about the world outside.

We want to create a gastronomic line rooted in French cuisine, with strong inspiration from the ingredients that surround us here in the Nordic region.

We work with intense, pure flavours and precision in our techniques, striving to fuse the classic with the innovative.

You will find us just behind the Royal Theatre.

Menu essentiel

Our Menu essentiel is a more focused and concentrated version of our gastronomy, where the essence of à Terre is presented in a more time-friendly setting. Essential is particularly suitable for theatre guests and visitors to the Royal Theatre who want a refined dining experience before the performance, without compromising on quality, taste or craftsmanship.

It is an obvious choice for guests seeking a gourmet experience in Copenhagen with a little less time.

Our Signature menu is the restaurant’s most complete journey and constitutes our tasting menu in Copenhagen. A complete narrative, where seasonal ingredients and classic techniques are combined in dishes created with precision and deep respect for detail. The dishes unfold layer by layer, inviting guests into the entire universe surrounding à Terre.

Our wine cellar reflects both tradition and curiosity. Based on our love of French cuisine, it pays tribute to the classic regions and producers that have shaped our culinary identity. Alongside these timeless wines, you will also find bottles from cooler climates, whose freshness and precision we value particularly highly.

We are constantly searching for new wineries and interesting wines from around the world that complement our dishes and satisfy our guests’ tastes. Every wine we serve is carefully selected, and we hope that each glass enhances the meal and enriches the moment. Our cocktail menu is minimalist and carefully curated with a selection of drinks created from the finest ingredients.

For guests who want a non-alcoholic alternative, we offer drinks from our partners in Copenhagen, including kombucha and tea-based drinks.

To round off the evening, we also offer an extended selection of liqueurs and beautifully crafted tea or coffee. Perfect for a relaxing finish.
